Intellicure Guarantee Information

Intellicure Audit Guarantee

The IntellicureEHR software was built to automatically provide compliant supporting documentation for medical providers’ care and treatment selections within the EHR. This Guarantee establishes that the supporting documentation is indeed compliant and automatically generated. Any claim against IntellicureEHR that it failed to perform a function which Intellicure does not expressly claim to perform is invalid.

The Intellicure Audit Guarantee applies only if the user follows the “Intellicure Charting Process” defined as the following:
• User does not write free text into a field where an option is provided.
• User begins and completes, with signature, the patient encounter chart while visiting with the patient or within 60 minutes of the encounter chart being created.
• The patient’s appointment is created in the EHR’s scheduler prior to the chart being created.

The Intellicure Audit Guarantee applies only if the following occurs:
A CMS or RAC audit reveals an inaccuracy or insufficiency in a patient’s encounter documentation despite the medical provider’s following of the Intellicure Charting Process for that specific encounter; and a fine assessed to the medical provider as a result of the aforementioned specific inaccuracy or insufficiency of documentation.

The Intellicure Audit Guarantee does not apply to audit fines as a result of user error, fraud, abuse, or waste.

Should the user meet the requirements for this Guarantee and does not receive its associated Guaranteed benefits, the user may submit a claim via email to CustomerCare@Intellicure.com. Intellicure will investigate the claim. Should the claim be proven to be valid, the user will receive 12 months of IntellicureEHR service for free (excludes add-ons, Network subscriptions, interfaces, and any other fees additional to basic IntellicureEHR service).

The Intellicure Coding & E/M Level Guarantee

The IntellicureEHR software automatically assigns ICD-10 diagnosis codes and E/M levels that align precisely with the information selected by the user within the chart if the user follows the Intellicure Charting Process. This Guarantee establishes that the automatically assigned ICD-10 codes and E/M levels are the most appropriate and/or accurate given the information selected by the medical provider.
Any claim against IntellicureEHR that it failed to perform a function that Intellicure does not expressly claim to perform is invalid.

The Intellicure Coding and E/M Level Guarantee applies only if the user follows the “Intellicure Charting Process” defined as the following:
• User does not write free text into a field where an option is provided.
• User begins and completes, with signature, the patient encounter chart while visiting with the patient or within 60 minutes of the encounter chart being created.
• The patient’s appointment is scheduled in the EHR’s scheduler prior to the chart being created.

The Intellicure Coding and E/M Level Guarantee applies only if the following occur:
• A RAC or CMS audit reveals an ICD-10 code or E/M level that is medically inappropriate or inaccurate (as defined by CMS) in a patient’s encounter documentation despite the medical provider following the Intellicure Charting Process for that specific encounter; and that specific inaccuracy results in a fine assessed to the medical provider.

The Intellicure Coding and E/M Levels Guarantee does not apply to audit fines as a result of user error, fraud, abuse, or waste.

Should the user meet the requirements for this Guarantee and does not receive its associated Guaranteed benefits, the user may submit a claim via email to CustomerCare@Intellicure.com. Intellicure will investigate the claim. MIPS Score Guarantee

The IntellicureEHR software provides a section within the Intellicure Charting Process labeled “IQS” (Individual Quality Scorecard). This Scorecard invites the medical provider to complete tasks within the chart prior to signing the chart. This Guarantee establishes that if a medical provider completes every task shown by IQS for every patient encounter, and that if the medical provider follows the Intellicure Charting Process, said medical provider will meet the minimum requirements necessary to attest for MIPS in 2019.

Any claim against IntellicureEHR that it failed to perform a function that Intellicure does not expressly claim to perform is invalid.

The Intellicure MIPS Score Guarantee applies only if the user follows the “Intellicure Charting Process” defined as the following:
• User does not write free text into a field where an option is provided.
• User begins and completes, with signature, the patient encounter chart while visiting with the patient or within 60 minutes of the encounter chart being created.
